A mikvah is more than a beautiful room with water. It requires halachically valid boros, an oitzer, a bor tevillah, carefully designed preparation rooms, plumbing, waterproofing, fixtures, ventilation, privacy, accessibility, and rabbinic supervision at every critical stage. Every detail matters because the finished mikvah must be both dignified and kosher.
Mikvah Be'er Yeshaya is being built with dedicated women's and men's spaces, preparation areas, shower rooms, and the halachic infrastructure required for long-term community use.
A mikvah must meet ordinary construction standards and exacting halachic requirements at the same time. The specialized concrete work, water systems, boros, waterproofing, tile, fixtures, privacy layout, and supervision make the project far more complex than a standard renovation. The result, when completed, is infrastructure that serves a Jewish community for generations.
